UBC defeat Queen’s to capture Spence McTavish Cup for second-straight year

VICTORIA- For the second-straight year the UBC Thunderbirds captured the Spence McTavish Cup after a 21-10 victory over the Queen’s Gaels in the final of the Canadian University Men’s Rugby Championship presented by title sponsors, Victoria Mitsubishi and Carson Automotive Group, and corporate sponsors Pemberton Holmes Ltd. and the Canadian Rugby Foundation at Centennial Stadium in Victoria on Nov. 25. Men’s rugby national championship seeding, schedule set

VICTORIA – The University of Victoria is set to host the 2nd Annual Canadian University Men’s Rugby Championship, Nov. 21-25, presented by title sponsors Victoria Mitsubishi and Carson Automotive Group and corporate sponsors Pemberton Holmes Ltd. and the Canadian Rugby Foundation. The six-team schedule includes Guelph Gryphons, Queen’s Gaels, UBC Thunderbirds, Victoria Vikes, Concordia Stingers and the University of New Brunswick Ironmen. Victoria set to host Canadian University Men’s Rugby 15s Championship

VICTORIA – The 2018 Canadian University Men’s Rugby Championship will be hosted in Victoria on Nov. 21-25 and will build off the success of the inaugural event hosted last year in Guelph.
